We can deliver training for your staff, management committees and boards on a variety of areas such as business planning, fundraising strategies, monitoring and evaluation, board development and dispute resolution.

MiDAS Training
​Accredited MiDAS minibus driver awareness training is available through us. Open to anyone, from businesses to community groups and charities to individuals. Training includes access to an online learning portal and theory assessment, and a practical session and assessment with our certified driving instructor.

Volunteer Training
We could not deliver our weekly community groups without the help from our amazing volunteers. In order to help volunteers feel equipped and supported in their roles we provide relevant training that will enable you to:

Have fun and feel a sense of purpose!

​Walk leader training
Delivered by our trained member of staff, and through Walking Scotland (formerly Paths for All), this training will give you the confidence to lead safe and welcoming social walks.​
​
Cycle leader training
Learn the necessary skills to guide safe, inclusive group cycles making them fun for everyone. Delivered through Cycling Scotland.​​
​
Good Conversations​​
Covering topics such as effective communication styles, how to be an active listener and the importance of boundaries, ​​this training is beneficial for a variety of our Befriending and Islander event roles.
​
We also offer first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene training.
Other Training​
From time to time, where there is demand, we can organise or help gain access to training for representatives from different community groups and organisations to attend.

We also have a room available for hire as a training venue if you wish to host your own training.
