NEW LOCAL SUPPORT OFFICER IN UIST

Third Sector Hebrides has welcomed Jean Newman to its team in Uist. "As our local support officer, Jean will have an important role to play in providing support to the voluntary and social economy sector and supporting TSH activities, initially over the next six months", Alasdair Nicholson, Chief Executive of Third Sector Hebrides, said. "Jean's appointment continues to demonstrate our commitment to the area at a time of great change and at a period of general resource uncertainty for the whole sector. Jean brings a range of skills to our work which can benefit the area, and we look forward to that." Alasdair also said, "Although Helena Coxshall is changing roles, she will have a continuing part-time role as an Associate Director with TSH where she will be developing some new areas of work. Helena has been a sterling champion for Uist, both with UCVO and latterly with Third Sector Hebrides, which she helped to envision and establish."
